Hi my name is Joanne, I work for Resthaven, I have found the course to be very user friendly.
Once all the hurdles of getting the site up to speed, learning to navigate, getting over nerves, and insecurities of being able to study etc were overcome I have found it easily accessible and enjoy the interactive, support nature of the program.
The tutorial sessions have been wonderfully interactive, with the well researched power point information and also personal experience and examples from the group and our facilitator.
It has been extremely helpful having the WWW on hand for instant research and reference.
Having set guidelines of what tasks are needing to be and what is expected from me, including due dates has helped me stay on track.
The initial workshops where we met each other and found out what was involved and what support was available were a really good lead into the course and put everything into perspective and helped allay a lot of fears I had about doing the course and study in general, not to mention it was a great way to get to know the people I would be communicating with.
As a working mum of three teenagers I’ve found it to be a great way to study and work around my routine.

Hi, just a quick note to say last night was great, once the wrinkles were ironed out everything was very easy to follow. It is amazing how we can all be in the classroom and share evidence. I feel confident that as well as achieving a certificate, I will gain valuable knowledge for my work. I have been particularly interested in how everything was delivered in the exercises. I think they are useful and interesting and gain everyone’s insights. I think courses like this would be particularly encouraging to younger people who would find it interesting and be more inclined to participate.

Thank you for the professional way in which you all conducted yourself. I completed my cert IV Disability work and enjoyed my time with you, the only concern I had was it was far too short!

This has been a positive and a good learning experience for me, I did not experience too many problems…There were always quick response’s to my queries.

I have found the E-Learning course a real experience. I was a bit overwhelmed at first but after the first session found the online classroom easier that I expected. I think it is good to be able to do it in the comfort of our own home and I have found the trainers very helpful and understanding.

I completed the Cert IV in Home and Community Care in December 09. I would like to let the staff know that I applied for a Uni Course (Bac Phychological Science) and have received a placement offer.
