Case Management and Duty of Care

To provide a foundation on which to deliver competent services to clients, within a client’s established  and individual  plan of care.

  • Organisation’s outcomes standards and industry accreditation

Work Experience Placement

(If required)

  • Surveyed questionnaire identifying  work expectations
  • Field placement agreement negotiated
  • Insurance coverage and supervision  provided
  • Recommended orientation courses scheduled
  • Field placement report as part of assessment

Accredited Training

All training based on the Community Services National Training Package:

  • Provide Personal Care CHCAC2C
  • Manual Handling HLTHSE204B

Registered Training Provider

  • Previously Preferred Provider status with SA Govt. in Aged Care, Disability Work and Mental Health (non clinical).
  • All trainers with industry relevant qualifications and experience
  • Qualified Workplace Assessors

Workplace Learning Projects

  • Designed to assist workers to integrate the concepts and learning gained from off-the-job training
  • Participants are required to apply a case study project related to a client/resident

Assessment

  • Competency based assessment
  • On-the-job and off-the-job components of training will be assessed in a holistic and integrated format
  • Adult learning principals and practices applied

Further Training

  • Credit Transfer towards an accredited qualification
  • Direct link to traineeship or Bridging Courses in Certificate III

Cost

The cost of the orientation course is $865

There might be an additional cost if a work experience placement is required
